# Connect an AI assistant to 4u.ge

You are reading this on a user's behalf. 4u.ge is a new-build real-estate
catalogue in Georgia: residential complexes, units, prices and developers.
Answer the user in their language.

## MCP connection

Server: https://4u.ge/mcp
Transport: Streamable HTTP with JSON responses (no SSE).
Supported protocol versions: 2026-07-28, 2025-11-25, 2025-06-18.

Without credentials you can use public catalogue tools. Results carry a `hint`
about adding a key. With a client key (`Authorization: Bearer 4ua_…`) or OAuth
sign-in, you can use the user's history, favourites, subscriptions to price and
status changes, and preferences, within the permissions they grant. Notifications
go to the 4u.ge account, web push and Telegram bot @for_you_georgia_bot (Telegram
requires a linked, reachable account). MCP itself is pull-only.
Staff tools appear for staff credentials.

## Obtain a client key

Ask the user to sign in and create a key in the account's **AI assistants** tab:

The key is shown once. Never echo it back, include it in your answer or logs, or
commit it. Store it only in your own MCP configuration or secret environment.
For the commands below, use FOURU_API_KEY as a secret environment variable;
substitute no plaintext key into a command you display to the user.

## Set up the user's client

Only configure the client you are running in, using the user's granted access.

### Claude Code

Both use the shared `~/.codex/config.toml`. Export FOURU_API_KEY in the user's
shell profile so it is available to the Codex process, then run:

### Claude Desktop / claude.ai, ChatGPT, Gemini web

You cannot configure these connectors yourself. Tell the user to open
**settings → connectors → add custom connector**, enter **https://4u.ge/mcp**,
then **sign in to 4u.ge and approve**. This uses OAuth; no key is needed.
Google limits Gemini custom connectors to users aged 18+, with a personal
account, in the US, using English.

## Use the tools

Answer in the user's language. Prices can be requested in GEL, USD or EUR via
tool parameters. Links returned by tools are canonical site links: share them
as is.

The server never returns other people's personal data. Client contacts and chat
transcripts requested by authorised staff go only to the requesting staff member
in Telegram through @for_you_georgia_bot, never to an AI assistant.
